‘This is the first time I’ve seen the store’s roof covered in solar panels,’ says Stefano Brown, Sustainability Manager in Retail. ‘It’s so rewarding to see them because I’ve been involved in the Catania store project from the very beginning. We’ve covered as much of the roof as possible, and there are 1,200 more panels in the car park. In summer, temperatures can reach 50 degrees, so the panels don’t just create energy, they provide shade for cars too!’
